Easter Bunny

Trey got his picture taken with the Easter Bunny yesterday. Compared to last year, he did awesome! He was sitting so stiff on the Easter Bunny's lap, but at least he didn't cry. Yeah! He does have a little cold, but he managed to perk up after pictures when he was playing with his buddy Seth.

Potty Time/Frog Friends

Trey peed in the potty! Yah!
I sat you on the potty and went to go get you a book to read from your room. When I came back, I saw a stream of pee hitting the floor. ☺ Good thing there was a towel there to catch it lol, it made clean up a breeze. We gave you a “candy” (dum dum) and you sat for a little bit more – we took your picture and gave you a ton of praise. We are soooo proud of you! When you got down, you insisted on running around naked. I thought, what the heck, you did sooo good and I didn’t want to discourage it by making you mad. But, you went into the living room and decided to squat to finish the job. A little came out as Daddy scooped you up to take you back to the potty and said, “No, that goes in the potty!” You leaned forward and squeezed the rest of it out into the potty! Yippee!
We let you help make cookies stark naked to celebrate!

Trey made a new friend today. We went outside to grill hamburgers and there waiting in Trey's water table - a frog! The frog did jump on Trey's toe once which he was NOT a fan of, but Daddy scooped the frog up in Trey's shovel so he could carry him around. Trey really loved that!

Baby's Getting Bigger!

Here is a picture of my BIG belly, for those interested in that. I'm 30 weeks along today! Trey knows there is a baby coming....but not sure he totally understands what that means. He'll kiss the baby if I ask him to, and thinks its funny to try and look down my shirt when I tell him there is a baby in Mommy's belly.

These days, after having a long day of chasing Trey I'm usually READY for bed.
Thankfully its been warm enough this week to get back outside and play in the water, so there isn't as much "chasing" going on. Trey LOVES the water and will play in it all day if I let him.

Baby Girl on the Way

We went in for our ultrasound on December 18th, and found out we will be blessed with a Baby Girl in May. We are very excited!

Halloween

Trey was Tigger for Halloween this year. Thankfully we made it to Halloween being that Trey was sick and this was the first day that Trey was starting to feel better. Unfortunately he gave it to Mommy - so Halloween was her day to be sick, and Saturday was Daddy's day. What a long week! But I did manage to get a few pictures of him with a happy face.

Daddy's Birthday

Trey was having a BLAST practicing blowing out Daddy's candles while he was on the telephone. He's officially ready for next year - he blew them out all by himself. He wasn't happy when we took the candles away - he was having to much fun! The ice cream cake cheered him up though. :)

Trey's Big Boy Underwear

I thought I would try and ease Trey into the beginning stages of potty training by putting on his big boy underwear. But....he HATED them soooooo much! I was trying so hard not to laugh, but he kept whining and tugging at them - I couldn't help myself. Guess we'll try that again at a later date! In the meantime we are still continuing to sit on his potty and try - but no luck so far.
